Programme Overview

The Leadership Academy places students within International Geneva, one of the world’s most significant hubs for diplomacy, humanitarian action, and global governance. The programme is designed to introduce participants to the practice of diplomacy while strengthening academic confidence, communication skills, and global awareness.
Through a combination of academic sessions, negotiation exercises, and experiential learning, students gain early exposure to international relations and leadership in a supportive, structured academic environment tailored to pre-university learners.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of diplomacy, negotiation, and international cooperation
  • Identify the roles and functions of key international organisations
  • Participate effectively in structured discussions, simulations, and group activities
  • Communicate with increased confidence in an academic and international setting

Programme Structure

Duration: One-week or two-week intensive academic programme.

Format: On-campus delivery in Geneva, combining academic workshops, simulations, and experiential learning.

Core Components

  • Academic workshops introducing diplomacy, leadership, and global affairs
  • Negotiation, communication, and teamwork exercises
  • A structured, multi-day Summit simulation focused on collaborative decision-making
  • Guided visits to international organisations in Geneva
  • Cultural and extracurricular activities complementing academic learning

Admissions Requirements

The Leadership Academy is open to students aged 16 to 18 who are currently enrolled in secondary education or an equivalent programme.

Participants should have a good command of English to follow academic sessions, visits, and activities. Applications are assessed based on motivation, maturity, and readiness to engage in an English-language academic environment.

Tuition and Fees

  • Application fee: CHF 150 (non-refundable)
  • Tuition fee (1-week programme): CHF 3,950
  • Tuition fee (2-week programme): CHF 7,100

Tuition fees cover academic instruction. Living expenses, travel, and personal costs are not included.
