Tuition Fees

Tuition fees vary depending on the programme and level of study, including undergraduate studies, graduate studies (including doctoral-level study), and professional development and executive education.

Authoritative and up-to-date tuition fee information is provided on individual programme pages.

What Tuition Fees Cover

Unless otherwise specified in official programme documentation, tuition fees generally include:

  • Academic instruction and supervision
  • Access to teaching and learning resources
  • Participation in scheduled courses, seminars, and academic activities
  • Use of institutional facilities relevant to the programme

Additional costs may apply for specific programmes or activities and will be communicated where relevant.

Tuition fees may be payable in instalments, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the official offer of admission and enrolment agreement.

Payment schedules, deadlines, and accepted payment methods are communicated during the admissions and enrolment process.

Funding Opportunities

The Geneva School of Diplomacy offers a limited number of funding options to support eligible students. Funding opportunities are competitive, subject to availability, and governed by specific eligibility criteria and conditions.

  • Refugee Scholarship
  • GSD Continuation Scholarship
  • External Funding Opportunities

Fellowship

The Fellowship Programme is available to students demonstrating proven academic excellence and demonstrated financial need.

Each year, the Geneva School of Diplomacy offers a maximum of six fellowships, providing a 30% to 50% reduction in tuition fees, based on the applicant’s verified need for financial assistance.

Eligibility Criteria

An ideal candidate is expected to:

  • Demonstrate strong academic performance
  • Demonstrate verified financial need
  • Hold a minimum grade point average of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent)

Required Documents for Fellowship Application

Applicants must submit the following documents:

  • Proof of financial need, typically the tax declaration of the applicant or their financial sponsor
  • Any additional documentation supporting the application

All documents must be submitted as one single PDF file.

Applications will not be considered unless all required documents are submitted in full.

Fellowship Commitments

Students awarded a fellowship are expected to offer a limited number of hours of administrative assistance or support each week at the School.

The level of commitment is commensurate with the level of financial aid awarded.

GSD Academic Excellence Scholarship Programme

Eligible candidates are expected to demonstrate:

Students selected may receive a 10% to 25% reduction in their annual tuition fee, based on academic merit.

Students who do not obtain a fellowship award are automatically considered for the GSD Academic Excellence Scholarship Programme, where applicable.

No separate application or document submission is required for this scholarship.
