Campus & Facilities

The Geneva School of Diplomacy is currently based at The Octagon, a modern education, training, and professional development hub in Geneva.

GSD occupies a dedicated section within The Octagon, including its own teaching rooms and administrative offices. Students may also benefit from access to selected shared areas within the building, in accordance with The Octagon’s terms and conditions.

GSD Teaching Spaces and Offices

The Geneva School of Diplomacy operates from dedicated teaching rooms and offices within The Octagon.

These spaces are used exclusively for GSD academic and administrative activities and support:

  • Lectures and seminars
  • Small-group teaching
  • Academic discussions and presentations
  • Student interaction with faculty and staff

Access to GSD teaching spaces is organised in accordance with programme schedules and institutional policies.

Access to The Octagon Building and Amenities

In addition to GSD’s dedicated spaces, students may benefit from access to certain shared facilities and amenities available within The Octagon, subject to availability and The Octagon’s internal rules.

Access to specific facilities or services:

  • Is not automatically included in tuition fees
  • May require separate registration, booking, or payment
  • Is governed by The Octagon’s own policies and conditions

Details regarding available services and amenities are determined by The Octagon and may change over time.

Academic and Professional Environment

The Octagon hosts a range of academic, training, and professional organisations, contributing to a structured and professional environment.

Students are expected to:

  • Respect shared spaces and professional settings
  • Use facilities responsibly
  • Comply with all applicable codes of conduct and usage policies

Administrative and Student Services

GSD’s academic coordination and administrative services operate from within its dedicated section at The Octagon.

  • Students may access administrative support during designated office hours
  • In accordance with institutional procedures

Support and Guidance

The Geneva School of Diplomacy can provide general guidance and resources related to accommodation but does not act as an intermediary between students and landlords.

Students are responsible for all arrangements, contracts, and payments related to housing.

Important Notice

The Octagon is an independently operated facility. Services, amenities, and access conditions are managed by The Octagon and may be modified independently of the Geneva School of Diplomacy. Access to specific facilities does not constitute a contractual entitlement beyond what is outlined in official programme documentation and applicable terms.
